We’re seeking a Senior Recruiter to own and scale frontline talent acquisition for GSI. This role isn’t about filling seats—it’s about reliably building the skilled crews that execute our mission-critical fieldwork and fuel company growth.

You’ll lead full-cycle recruiting for construction and geotechnical professionals across the U.S., managing 15–25+ requisitions simultaneously in a weekly hiring rhythm. You’ll also coach junior recruiters, refine sourcing strategies, and partner closely with operational leaders to shape workforce planning.

This is a high-impact role where speed, quality, and leadership presence differentiate good from great. Success here requires intellectual sharpness, resilience under pressure, and the ability to consistently deliver hiring velocity with top-tier talent quality.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

 

Recruiting Leadership & Execution

  • Own 15–25+ requisitions for traveling construction crew and geotechnical roles.
  • Set the standard for recruiting execution, driving weekly cadences and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with field and operations leadership to anticipate hiring needs 30–60 days ahead.
  • Partner effectively with sourcing partners and vendors to improve candidate pipelines, engagement and pull-through.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for junior recruiters, modeling urgency, precision, and professionalism.

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Rapidly screen inbound applicants and activate referral networks for high-quality hires.
  • Engage with applicants and move them rapidly through screening and into hiring manager interviews.
  • Leverage iCIMS and other tools for pipeline management, candidate tracking, and recruiting analytics.

Candidate Experience & Selection

  • Represent GSI with professionalism. Every candidate gets a clear, timely response.
  • Guide candidates through a structured, efficient process with proactive communication.
  • Drive rapid decision-making, advocating for decisions and offers within 48 hours of crew interviews.

Onboarding & Retention Partnership

  • Ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding and orientation teams.
  • Track early-stage retention data and share insights to improve recruiting effectiveness.

 

Qualifications

What It Takes to Succeed

 

  • 4+ years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting in skilled trades, construction, field services, or manufacturing.
  • Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on hiring metrics: time-to-fill, velocity, candidate quality, retention.
  • Strong instincts for identifying candidates with grit, adaptability, and technical fit.
  • Evidence of driving measurable impact through creative sourcing and streamlined processes.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and calm under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Tech-savvy with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS strongly preferred).
  • Ability to work from Westminster, CO (T/W/Th in-office, M/F remote).

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule. Employees will be expected to work in the Westminster, CO office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

 

The expected base pay range for this position in the Denver, CO area is $88,000 - $100,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
