Overview

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the smooth execution of construction projects across the company by managing a diverse range of logistical tasks, including loading, unloading, and coordinating materials to ensure timely and efficient project progress

Responsibilities

  • Inventory control/audit preparation for Warehouse Department
  • Inventory counting at random intervals on all items
  • Ability to learn every individual material item and what its use is immediately upon hire
  • Pull all outgoing orders and re-inventory all return orders from all jobs
  • Shipping & Receiving duties- including loading and unloading all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Inventory control and maintenance of inventory levels for incoming and outgoing tool pod/rockfall concept projects
  • Arranging logistics of pod deliveries, safety items, engineering items, testing items, and ALC/IFC items as well as non-inventory to and from job sites.
  • General labor in warehouse
  • Cleaning duties not limited to warehouse but including exterior of warehouse and general maintenance duties
  • Sub inventory control for ALC/IFC items as well as non-inventory GSI items
  • This is an on call position as we are an emergency contractor and you may be required to be called in and/or stay late to complete emergency orders at any time

Qualifications

  • Must have equipment operating experience, preferably a tele handler forklift as well as indoor forklift/general knowledge of daily maintenance on forklifts/equipment
  • Must be able to receive Class A CDL within 3 months of employment or possess Class A CDL upon employment
  • Organization, accuracy, great communication skills and attention to detail are key assets that you must possess when applying for this position
  • Must be self-motivated to initiate what needs to be done and do so without direct supervision/direction
  • A sense of urgency and being able to complete tasks before moving to another is a must in this position

 

 

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency desired

 

Computer Skills:

 

  • Must be able to operate computer in a Windows environment, be able to use internet, and basic experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook is needed
  • Must be able to operate inventory control program to place material and purchase orders

Abilities Required:

 

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds easily and repetitively

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Able to read, write, and speak English effectively.

 

Compensation Range: $23/Hr.
