Overview

As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for, either through yourself or subordinates, all paperwork tasks related to the actual efficient maintenance as well as processing of company preliminary and final payroll reports, timesheets, spreadsheets, and funds distribution, assuring compliance with district and county policies, state and federal regulation, etc. The company has multiple business units with payroll in the United States and Canada. You will also respond to inquiries and/or requests for data and/or reports, provide timely and accurate payroll production, and provide certified payroll reports for all projects on weekly basis. This is a pivotal role for the company. This is a highly collaborative position as you will be interreacting and have engagement with frontline, accounting, and the people and talent team.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of wide variety of finance and accounting analysis, reports, and month end reconciliations,
  • Preparations of various requested schedules such as, fixed asset depreciation/amortization, debt, inventory, etc.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management: management of all cash accounts, forecasting, weekly reporting.
  • Interact with external auditors to provide necessary assistance,
  • Assist with sales/use tax analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with general accounting tasks and reporting,
  • Help develop and implement more efficient and effective accounting and financial reporting procedures for scaling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance,
  • 5-7 years of experience of construction (or like) accounting experience,
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, with intermediate skills in Excel
  • Well organized and detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Accounting experience with subsidiaries and international currency conversion a plus.

Salary range: $92,000 - $105,000 per year
