Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, servers, and hardware.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability of IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage Microsoft Server based services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Maintain system security through PoLP, patching, RBAC, and firewall policy configurations.
  • Manage onsite and offsite backups and test file and server restorations on a regular basis.
  • Maintain inventory of infrastructure and systems software.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff on system and network changes or improvements.
  • Email migrations to a Microsoft 365 tenant.
  • Support end users on elevated technical incidents.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • AI experience a plus, including security, agents, addons, and best practices.
  • Document or map configurations, processes, and procedures.

Working Conditions:

    • May require occasional on-call support or after-hours work during system upgrades or outages.
    • Occasional travel within the United States.
    • Physical requirements include lifting and moving computer equipment.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    •  2+ years in a system administration or related IT support role
    • Proficiency in multiple versions of Windows Server (2012 R2 and later).
    • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Azure, others a plus).
    • Experience with software and hardware firewalls.

Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure, etc.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule. Employees will be expected to work in the Westminster, CO office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

 

The expected base pay range for this position in the Colorado area is $80,000 - $102,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
