What You Will Do

The Supply Chain & Logistics Intern will gain practical experience in supply chain operations and logistics within a real-world business environment. This internship offers an opportunity to assist with various aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities my include:

1. Procurement Support: Assist in procurement activities, including researching suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders. Ensure procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective.

2. Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and analyzing inventory data to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.

3. Logistics Coordination: Support the coordination of logistics and transportation activities, including tracking shipments, ensuring on-time deliveries, and resolving transportation-related issues.

4. Demand Forecasting: Assist in analyzing historical data and market trends to contribute to demand forecasting and planning.

5. Supplier Relationship Management: Help maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies.

6. Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

7. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities, such as purchase orders, invoices, and shipping records.

8. Supply Chain Analytics: Analyze supply chain data to provide insights and recommendations for improving supply chain performance.

9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain and procurement.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field. We also invite active members of the military who are eligible for the SkillBridge Program.
• Expected graduation of Winter 2025 or Summer 2026. For service members, they should be ending their active service within twelve months of summer 2025. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to changing supply chain dynamics.
• Basic understanding of supply chain principles and logistics is a plus.

Salary Range: $20.00 to $28.00 HR
